    Cozy and charming cottage away from the hustle and bustle

    Fern Cottage is delightful - loving restored and cared for with a lot of charm. What stands out are the special details and high quality of design items. Perfect bedrooms. Plenty of hot water. Sweet little garden. The cottage is snug and quirky in all the best ways. The hosts are friendly and helpful. There's a charming little playgound just across the road. Overall a great stay.

    The location is close to Penrith and other points of interest but there is absolutely nothing to do in the immediate / walkable area. So, you do have to drive everywhere: supermarket, bakery, coffee shops, etc. Just something to know. Also, the French Press is tiny - consider a larger one for families / groups.

    Absolutely brilliant

    The cottage was absolutely perfect. An oasis of calm, had everything you can possibly need, and it was spotlessly clean. As a celiac person, it was really great to find toaster bags in the kitchen so I could safely make gluten free toast in the toaster and avoid cross contamination. Would definitely stay again!

    Great all round

    The hosts were really helpful and accommodating when we requested an early check in and were always available when we had any questions or requested. The cottage itself was really lovely - we would highly recommend.

    Fern Cottage had everything you could possibly need for a family holiday. The furniture was very comfy, kitchen equipment spot on. Instructions from the owners, very clear. Parking outside front door or around the back, through the pretty garden.
