We enjoyed the stay better than any chain hotel we've used lately. Would do so again.
With two rooms and two baths, it was more than we needed. It was absolutely quiet and peaceful. It was also great in that it was less than five minutes from the ferry we needed to catch for Ocracoke Island. The scenic drive through marshes to get to Cedar Island was an added benefit.
There was nothing about the facility that we didn't like. The area did have a lot of horse flies, probably from having stables in the surrounding area that allows for horseback riding on the beach.

The area was great. We also loved the well stocked home and inviting environment. Beach/ ferry is right down the road about 5 minutes.
