Sehr netter Kontakt zum Gastgeberpaar, Haus steht in einer ruhigen Wohnsiedlung die früher von Stahlarbeitern bewohnt war. Es atmet noch etwas die Geschichte von damals. Parkplatz vorm Haus, ruhige Lage, ca. 2 km von der Völklinger Hütte und Zentrum entfernt. Gute Ausstattung, sehr schönes Bad. Trotz heißer Außentemperaturen > 30°C war es innen erstaunlich kühl. Den Gartenbereich hatten wir nicht genutzt. Netto Supermarkt ca. 300 m. Gute Pizzeria fußläufig erreichbar.
Dafür kann die Unterkunft nichts: Völklingen ist eine Kleinstadt mit sichtbarem Leerstand, nach einem Besuch in der Hütte versteht man warum.

Herzliches Willkommen und persönlicher Empfang vom Gastgeber. Gute Kommunikation und war sehr entgegenkommend. Voll eingerichtete Wohnung mit allem was man braucht und viel Platz auch für eine Gruppe von Freunden. Sogar an nette Details wie Austattung mit Wasserkasten, Kaffee und Chips war gedacht. Auch bei dem heißen Wetter ließ es sich in der Wohnung gut aushalten, der Ventilator war ein willkommener Bonus. Sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen gerne wieder!
