Brilliant location in the centre of everything
Tatiana is the most delightful host and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. The apartment is well fitted out and Tatiana left breakfast cakes, various nibbles and savouries to just make our stay that little bit more comfortable. The location is quite simply superb - only a few minutes walk from the Piazza Duomo and downtown Catania, it is situated in a vibrant neighbourhood with a selection of excellent restaurants, gelaterias, bars and cafes to accommodate every taste. Tatiana has negotiated excellent parking arrangements in a secure private parking facility just 5 minutes walk from the apartment and has great contacts with a tour operator who provided us with a private tour to Mount Etna. The apartment is also well located for exiting Catania for excursions to Taormina, Syracuse and of course some of the excellent beaches south of Catania.
Second bedroom was a little small for a couple - the apartment is probably better suited to a family of two adults and two children rather than the four adults in our case, but its location and facilities could not be faulted.
