    A cosy, clean, modern apartment in a very central position.

    The location was close to the shops, cafes, restaurants and bars and within 10 minutes of the beach. Yet the property was in a quiet spot as well. The property had its own off road parking place which was great. The bus and railway stations are only 10 minutes walk away, if you want to leave the car and take public transport to Scarborough, Bridlington, Bempton, Beverley and Hull ( The Deep, Aquarium).

    To be picky, the LG tv in the living area was a bit awkward to use, especially for terrestrial channels. Everything else was excellent though.

    Fire alarms hazard

    The accommodation was clean, like new, comfortable and well equipped.

    The mass of fire alarms in one room, ie 4, 2 of which over the kitchen. A piece of toast would set the domestic alarm off so had to put the toaster on the hob under the extractor. First night arrival, quick bacon sandwich, set the building alarm off also, no one reachable, rang for 20 minites until staff and Fire brigade turned up. Even the fireman commented. Not a great way to meet your fellow guests in the lobby! It was ridiculous and created an unnecessary sense of anxiety going forward.
