Greenbanks cottage...A lovely find...
It was a nice cottage. It was well furnished and homely. The kitchen is well stocked. The dishwasher and washing machine are great. We enjoyed our stay. It is close to many little places. The Chemist is superb. Clays Kitchen and the local Spar are all great. The commercial inn had live music and a great atmosphere. All in all it was a great place to stay.
The car parking was a little tight and the stairs were a little steep for my wife. We also found the shower difficult to get used too. But none of this detracted from the overall thoughts. You can always find differences from your own home. None of these were major issues.

Loved our stay
The location is great for getting out and exploring Cornwall. The beds are really comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped. I would recommend popping out for the local bingo on Monday night, the locals are really welcoming! There's a park in short walking distance if you have children. There's a small shop and a little cafe which was lovely. Being able to wash your clothes and hang them to try outside is really handy after beach days.
The downstairs is in need of a deep clean, I've fed this back to management and they plan to do this. They were lovely to speak with and called back with an update. Upstairs was spotless. We did need to get bin bags, sponges for washing up and a tea towel. I do think these should be provided. The shower is okay, an upgrade to the shower head would make a big difference.

An empty 2nd home with Good potential - needed to be in a nicer area. Don't visit in off seasons
The bed was comfy. Liked it had parking off road. It was quiet and lovely and dark at night. Nice garden for the dog.
The overall cleanliness of the property and lack of basics sucks as a bin bag, clean products and no fusty bedding and towels. I don't believe it's the owners fault but the cleaners. Not much in the local village but it's good for a middle ground Heating issues as the thermostats are battery powered and only one was working
