Beautiful historic house in a great location and a friendly host, but dated inside, and the construc
The house is stunning from the outside and fits the character of Niagara-on-the-Lake perfectly. The location is great, as the town centre is only a 5 minute walk away. The host was very friendly and accommodating, and the check-in instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The rooms were spotless. For a short stopover on the way through, it is a charming place to spend a night.
A large construction site was running right across the street, and this was not mentioned in advance. For guests who come for a relaxing holiday, the noise in the morning can be a real surprise, so it would be fair to let people know when booking. Inside, the house feels a bit dated compared to the neighbouring properties, and our rooms were either too warm or too cold, which is probably part of the age and charm of the building. Also, after we shared our estimated arrival time as requested, we only received automated replies that repeated the same briefing, without responding to our message.

Location is great. Very close to center of town and shops
Room was quite small and bathroom was down the hall rather than ensuite.

Great location, fantastic hostess! Yvonne was very helpful and she made great breakfasts! Our room was beautiful.
Should have a keurig in the dining room and maybe some small bottles of water and fruit for guests. Nothing major, apples etc

Over-the-top service and stay
The full breakfast on both days was excellent, prepared personally for each guest by Yvonne. On arrival, we parked at the hotel and walked the 2 blocks to the main shopping district. Parking on a long weekend is a nightmare so this was a great and cost-saving convenience.
