Fireweed oasis in Anchorage
Wanting to celebrate my mothers birthday in Alaska, we were looking for an AirBnb to stay at as a homebase. Fireweed was cozy, inviting, and very clean. This was a great option for my mother and I to each have our own separate rooms, and a comfortable living room to play cards and catch up. The place is well located in town, with easy access to all of the hiking/trails, downtown shops and restaurants, and even very close to a must-visit ice cream shop (Wild Scoops). The place was well furnished and made for a beautiful refuge when not outside. Couldn't have asked for a more pleasant stay.

Bardzo wygodny i czysty. Komfortowe łóżka. Wygodna łazienka wyposażona w wannę i prysznic. Bardzo dogodna lokalizacja w Anchorage
Lokal położony jest na najniższej kondygnacji budynku. Niezbyt duże okna znajdują się wysoko i zapewniają nieco mniej światła niż można byłoby oczekiwać. Ale oczywiście zwykle nie po to przyjeżdżamy na Alaskę by spędzać dużo czasu w miejscu noclegowym.

Cozy place to stay in Anchorage with a car
We really enjoyed our stay at Fireweed Gardens. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. It was clear that a lot of care had gone into every detail, making our stay very comfortable. We especially appreciated having a washer and dryer available. The neighborhood is quiet, peaceful, and very pleasant. Having a car is recommended to get around.
The only thing to keep in mind is that the apartment is in the basement, so it doesn’t get much natural light and can feel a bit dark. Other than that, it is an excellent place to stay, and we would happily recommend it.
