    Nice Local pub made to feel very welcome

    Very friendly staff and good service skills. Nice room with a fab roll top bath and separate shower and we enjoyed our pub dinner meal. Best coffee making facilities ever! Just outside our room in the Lobby and easy to access. All rooms (3) had a bottle of fresh milk in the fridge under the coffee station. Our room was on the ground floor next to the bar and restaurant it was so quiet. Would be very happy to stay again in the future.

    Lumpy Pillows (they need replacing) and the basin was rather small with poor hot water flow so we used the bath shower attachment to fill up the basin, quicker! Otherwise it was a very comfortable room

    Gods for an overnight stay.

    It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The shower was lovely and towels soft. The staff were friendly. It was very quiet.

    It’s difficult to put your finger on it. Tiny things. No breakfast tea bags only herb ones It may have been other guests taking so therefore more put it please. There was no hand rail so I found it hard to go up and down stairs. By husbands first pint was unpleasant, flat. No apology but given another with ‘you wot be charged for second pint’. Dinner was ok. The pie and veg good, rest ok. I understand why we had to pay up front for breakfast but everything individually priced so how was I to know if t wanted juice or extra toast the night before. As I said little things. Ok for an overnight stay.

    Lovely pub with good atmosphere & friendly staff.

    Friendly & accommodating staff. Very nice, clean & fresh rooms & en-suite. Fresh crisp cotton sheets.

    Food very pricey
