    Loved everything about this place!

    We were so welcomed on our one night stay here and could not recommend this place any more highly. So dog friendly so on the evening we could let her off lead right at front of the house. The room was perfect, huge amount of room and we felt so relaxed whole time of our stay. The family that run this place are so welcoming and friendly. We enjoyed a home cooked breakfast on the morning and would absolutely recommend you have a breakfast as it was fantastic! They also have a gift shop on site with local crafts/artwork to browse. If you don't end up staying here the cafe alone is well worth the stop off as the traybakes were so good that we took away to enjoy the next day too.

    The stay was a real pleasure with plenty of places to discover around the building itself.

    The environment (especially the walled garden) and the staff who were very informative. The house was unusual but welcoming and the remoteness was a positive feature. There was a charm about the whole place. The breakfast was excellent.

    Very little really. The drive could do with resurfacing but that's about it. Perhaps evening meals could be provided since there is really nowhere to eat in the evening.
