Globalement un week-end parfait dans le countryside anglais
Le lieu, la chambre, les activités (le pigeon clay shooting est vraiment à faire) et le personnel (adorable). Mention spéciale pour les cocktails et la tarte à la myrtille sur mesure!
La piscine était très bien mais ils ne font pas du tout respecter les règles sur les enfants de moins de 12 ans donc nous étions avec une grande famille et des enfants qui criaient et plongeaient dans la piscine adulte alors qu’il y a des piscines et un coin réservé exprès pour les enfants. Dans d’autres grands hôtels généralement le personnel est là pour gérer ce genre de situation et faire respecter le calme du lieu. Ici ce n’était pas du tout le cas et c’était extrêmement désagréable - pas du tout un moment de détente. Je ne suis pas contre le fait que les enfants se joignent mais quand il y a 0 respect sur le niveau sonore et le calme du spa (pas seulement par les enfants) ce n’est juste pas acceptable et le personnel devrait intervenir. De manière générale l’hôtel est très familial, il ne faut pas s’attendre au calme habituel d’un hôtel de luxe dans les espaces communs.
