With just a few small improvements, this hotel could be the perfect place to stay.
The staff was very friendly, the room was in good condition, the breakfast was tasty and more than enough. We were able to park our car.
The bed linen was too small to cover the entire bed, and there was no spare roll of toilet paper. It was particularly disappointing to see yoghurt from Russia being served at breakfast. 😢 🇬🇪🇺🇦 A small desk in the room would also be a welcome addition for guests who need to do some work on their laptops. 👩💻

Cheap, but not 4 star standard
Good location. Easy access to the city centre.
Definitely not the standard I'd expect for a 4 star hotel. A few things: 1. The booking.com page indicated to us there was guaranteed parking. When we arrived, all the parking was gone. There's 3 spots at best, so don't rely on this. 2. The breakfast is not a buffet, so you get what you get served. The food was alright, but don't expect regular continental hotel standard. Also, there was no proper coffee, only instant coffee. If you wanted coffee from a nescafe pod machine, you had to pay for it. 3. The rooms were not very soundproof. We could hear the people in the room next to ours watching TV.

Spotless room with a river-view balcony, friendly staff and a good breakfast.
A lovely room with a balcony overlooking the river. Everything was spotless, the staff were friendly and breakfast was good.
It’s a little further from the city centre than I’d like, though still within walking distance. That’s just my personal preference, and it’s not something the hotel can change.
