    Picture perfect getaway! Will be coming back for a winter staycation

    The cottage was so beautiful on a picture perfect property! Felt like a postcard

    Peaceful and comfortable

    Location and property were gorgeous, bed was massive and comfy, really nice having wine and breakfast items upon arrival, the bath was lovely and enjoyed seeing the ponies and goat.

    The staff were quite dismissive, when we arrived there were bugs all in the bed(including inside the sheets, mattress and pillows) and all over the towels provided on the bed. When we called they were very dismissive and said “it’s the mountains, you’re going to get bugs” them not realising I grew up in the area, having bugs in your bed and towels is in fact not normal, we were told to “use bug spray provided” they did offer us different accomodation, along with a condescending “but there will be bugs there also” the rest of the house had no bugs, I can guarantee if they spent the money we did to stay here they would not welcome bugs in their bed and towels.

    Overall a most enjoyable stay.

    Great location, well appointed property. Forest outlook magnificent, solitude inspiring, birdlife rewarding. Property central to our requirements (local wedding).

    Difficulties on arrival with accessing lock box. Could not get internet connection despite several attempts. Cleaning crew could benefit from a "rev up" - dirt on skirting boards, cobwebs on ceiling. Stain in middle of bed spread - not obvious until unfolded.
