    Exceptional

    The location of this property is lovely, we loved exploring the walking trails on the property (the secret forest was a hit with the kids) and the nearby beach. Alan is a wonderful host and the cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. French Island is a special place to visit, so much wildlife. There are Koalas everywhere! We had 2 full days on the island (3 nights) but we wished we could have had another day or two.

    The location is unique. Alan is a terrific host and the many animals are fantastic.

    The animals, the locale. Unique!

    It is a challenging location on really hot days with children. Some of the signage for tracks was wrong. The island has a lot of potential for longer, multi-day bushwalks and bike rides.

    Beautiful accommodation within 30 hectare paradise of wildlife and nature

    Beautiful accommodation with comfortable indoor and outdoor leisure areas. Beautiful bathrooms Best equipped kitchen with extras like foil and clingfilm Original art and poetry, books, dvds Exquisite environment with ecologically restored fields and forests with koalas echidnas poteroos birds and bats..don't need to leave property Very near beach with mangroves Incredibly helpful host, Alan, made us very welcome
