  The place has a great location, beautiful calm beach, white sand and amazing reef. Eri and his wife were friendly, the food good.

  Unfortunately, the low rating is due to the animal/dog abuse we witnessed. On the first day, after playing a bit with the dog she got too excited and was jumping all over us. We asked the boat driver to just take her home. Instead we witnessed him getting completely angry, started hitting the dog and kicked her at least 4 times on her ribs. Another person came and started hitting her on top with a stick. It was devastating to see such violence against an animal that can't defend itself and was only playing in the end. We considered even leaving after this accident but stayed to be around the dog. Not only it made us uncomfortable but even scared considering the level of violence displayed - especially by the first person who tried to hit her even with rocks on another occasion just for barking. The "bright side" of this story is that I shared already this feedback with the owner who promised an improvement on the way the dog is treated. Nevertheless including here the full story so you can personally assess if it's indeed something they will have improved or not.

  Amazing home stay, a slice of paradise, would recommend to all

  Frit’s homestay was amazing - fantastic private reef right outside, with plenty of marine life. The hosts were really welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, the food was always delicious too! The location was the best we saw while in Raja Ampatt, beautifully private - it is like your own little paradise.

  The homestay is very private, which while also a positive, means you can’t walk to other locations so can be very reliant on the hosts (although they are happy to accommodate requests).

  Little off grid paradise

  It’s truly of the grid, warm staff and a great cook. If you’re looking for the “end of the world feeling” this is it. Facilities are simple, but that’s exactly what we expected going to a remote island. Make sure to bring some drinks and enjoy the sound of the waves while waking up. Thanks for our amazing stay

  The only downside is that you need to take a boat for everything, but the staff is very accommodating and the prices of the boat are on the lower end compared to other places in Raja

  Un lugar perfecto para desconectar y bucer

  A fecha de hoy solo hay dos habitaciones por lo tanto es muy tranquilo. El trato es muy cercano y si vas a desconectar es perfecto. La habitacion es grande y tiene baño y ducha propio, y tiene terraza con hamaca. La comida es buenisima (se paga aparte excepto desayuno que esta incluido). El trato con los dos hermanos que lo gestionan es excelente y son muy cuidadosos, incluso en el trayecto Wasai-Homestay intentaron que no nos mojaramos mucho. En frente del homestay se hace un snorkel increible, donde ver tortugas, tiburones, vimos una manta etc…

  Necesitas transporte para ir hasta el pueblo asi que tienes dependencia de su barco (ofrecen excursiones como cualquier otro homestay obviamente) Al llegar al puerto ellos mismos nos ofrecieron llevarnos a un minimarket a comprar comida al lado del puerto (algo que agradecimos y que nos fue bien para comprar) aunque después el señor de la moto (su amigo) nos cobró 100.000 rp (algo bastante excesivo) y nos pareció una situación extraña.

  Frits Homestay est un petit paradis

  La gentillesse de Mesak et sa famille, leur hospitalité, l’emplacement exceptionnel avec un spot de snorkeling incroyable devant le Homestay, les excursions proposées et la qualité des repas, la propreté des lieux et les petites attentions offertes par nos hôtes
