  Locatie top, super mooi uitzicht, makkelijk in en uitchecken, gemakken van eigen appartement.

  Hygiëne, muffe handdoeken en bed. Schimmel in de wasmachine, vlekken op de badkamerspiegel.

  The apartment was clean and we did not see any visible mould. The view from the property is beautiful and the apartment itself looks nice and is generally in good condition. A car is highly recommended, as the centre of Furnas and the thermal baths are not within a particularly convenient walking distance.

  Unfortunately, the biggest problem for us was a very strong musty/damp smell inside the apartment. It was particularly noticeable in the bedroom and seemed to be especially strong around the cupboard where the washing machine is located in the bedroom. There was also a noticeable musty smell in the bathroom. For us, the smell was strong enough to seriously affect our sleep. We woke up during the night and in the morning with headaches and found it very uncomfortable to stay in the apartment with everything closed. We were honestly relieved that we had booked only two nights, as we personally would not have wanted to stay any longer under these conditions. There is no normal window in the bedroom, only a door leading directly outside towards the street. Since the property is not fenced, we did not feel comfortable leaving this door open while sleeping. During the day, leaving it open was also problematic because animals enter the apartment. The mattress is rather hard, but the bigger issue is the bed itself: it squeaks loudly with almost every movement. When one person turns over or gets up during the night, it can easily wake the other person. Before posting this review, we contacted the host privately and explained the issue with the musty smell in detail. The host rejected our complaint, stating that they had never noticed such a smell and that previous guests had not complained about it. We acknowledge that we also could not find previous reviews mentioning this issue. Nevertheless, this was very clearly our experience during our stay. For that reason, we feel it is important to mention it here for future guests. If you are sensitive to musty or damp smells, we would personally recommend considering another accommodation.

  L’appartamento era stupendo, interno moderno e vista mozzafiato dalla terrazza. Ottima posizione per poter girare l’isola in 1 settimana di vacanza.

  Unica pecca della vacanza è stato trovare le lenzuola macchiate ma contattando subito il proprietario si è preoccupato di portarcele pulite.
