I had an enjoyable stay where the staff was very helpful from the start and the room/facilities were gorgeous. I would this location as its ideal for a mix of country side but not too far from city side.
Nothing at all. The stay was difficult to get to from the train station so I would recommend a taxi if carrying heavy baggage.

Amazing experience with staff that out perform a five star hotel.
The room, outdoor garden, and overall facility were gorgeous creating the perfect atmosphere. The staff were very friendly, cheerful, and very accommodating. Moreover, the manager personally took us to the room to explain the features, arranged for dining in a private dinner room, and provided insight on local restaurants. When we inquired if the sake we enjoyed in the bar was sold in the gift shop, it was not. However the staff made an exception and sold a bottle from their inventory. What amazing customer service! The Onsen was a perfect way to relax after a busy day. The staff and the beauty of the hotel made for a memorable experience.
