    Absolutely loved it

    We absolutely loved our stay at the sanctuary. The staff were amazing and knowledgeable and they really made us feel at home. The sanctuary is very peaceful and cosy. One of the best places we have ever stayed at. We will definitely return. We’d recommend staying for longer than you think - we stayed for six days and any shorter would have been too short.

    The room was super cosy and nice but quite cold and the door was cut in such a way that the light in the hallway was visible from the bed at nighttime. There was also a sound (maybe a generator) that woke us up a couple of times. Finally, the breakfast (which was excellent!) was a little bit repetitive for a longer stay. However, these are really small things in relative terms - we absolutely loved our stay and we will definitely be back!

    Stunning and secluded property in the hills above Hout Bay

    A beautiful boutique hotel in the hills above Hout Bay, offering peace and luxury. Spectacular architecture and decor, superb food and extremely helpful staff. It comes highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay in the Cape Town area.

    It's hard to mention anything here, the only thing is perhaps something should be done about the wood fire in the property, which when lit can make the dining area quite smoky.
