    The apartment was spacious and clean.

    There were fan's but air conditioning would have made the heat more bearable. We could not use the key lock on the external door. A bottom plastic section of the fridge compartment was broken and kept falling out when the door was opened and the kitchen tap was very wobbly. We couldn't work out how to get any stations on the tv.

    Central stay

    It was in the perfect spot to explore, everywhere was walkable around the old town of Funchal. It had plenty room and a good set up kitchen. It had a lovely shower and a good hair dryer.

    While I should have checked more carefully it does not have air con, only fans. Also as it has 3 flights of stairs you need to be comfortable on stairs. Finally we had to dispose of the rubbish in local public bins which we weren't very comfortable doing, we thankfully weren't cooking much in the apartment or this would have been more difficult.
