Beautiful, comfortable and historic.
An exceptionally authentic, well equipped house with immense character. A lovely place to stay in mid October. Mixed weather is no problem with somewhere comfortable to sit and close to places to eat. Plenty of options in the kitchen. Kettle, coffee machine, toaster and cooker. Washing machine works well and plenty of drying space. Mesta is a great base. The walk over the hill to Olympi is lovely and takes under an hour each way. Most of all, this house is a piece of living history. It's a privilege to stay there.
We liked everything. Nothing was less than perfect. Tip: This house is not suitable for people with limited mobility. You must park a little distance away. Village paths are uneven. The house has (beautiful) steep stone stairs.

Cozy, traditional apartment with balcony
Cozy apartment with balcony facing the beautiful church. Sunday morning bells might wake you up but otherwise we slept like babies 😊 Everything is near (Mesta is a small village), but no restaurants or bars on the same street so it was very calm (in May at least). The weather was a bit chilly as it was raining the first day we got there, but we just turned on the heater and the air conditioner on and it was perfect. Unlike in the pictures, there were chairs and a table on the balcony so it was nice to have coffee or a glass of wine there. There are high stairs between the floors, which wasn't a problem for us but maybe not the best place if you have any problems with balance or legs. Gabriela had some nice gifts for us waiting and answered everything quickly! Thank you! Would definitely come back again!
