I would 100% come back
The flat itself is fantastic – it has a big kitchen with a table to eat at, the living room has a sofa and TV, and there's another dining table, a big bathroom and bedroom with a great mattress and pillows. We cooked a couple of meals and had everything we needed. Great facilities to dry clothes washed in the small machine. The location is great. Excellent value for money.
There were no tea towels, so you couldn't dry anything. We used LOTS of kitchen roll, which was a complete waste. In the bathroom, the soap for the shower was in tiny sachets – to be environmentally-friendly, for a flat where people will stay many days, there really should be a refillable soap dispenser. As someone else mentioned, the padlock to get the key for the flat is far too high. Short people cannot see the numbers to get the keys. Thankfully, I was with my partner. Also, as others have mentioned, the steps (50+) are steep and high. If you had a big suitcase, you'd struggle – it is worth the struggle. You can hear noise from the neighbours downstairs, but that's to be expected in a flat. Finally, a personal pet hate, as the place is 'unmanned', you can't check out and leave bags. Also, you have to send ID via Booking.com or email.

Fantastic, cosy apartment in superb location!
Super cosy apartment with excellent location - quiet area but within 5 minutes of the busy streets with lots of shops and restaurants. We definitely would like to stay here again when we visit Lucca again, hopefully next year. Really enjoyed our stay!
The key in the padlocked attached to the window was very high up, there's no way I would've been able to reach it but luckily my partner is 191cm and managed to get the key. The steps are also steep, so it could be a challenge for some. Also parts of the ceiling is rather low as well as the doors into the apartment so if you're tall, you have to mind your head!

Highly recommend.
Loved the separation between the bedroom and kitchen. I made coffee and did not disturb my sleeping spouse. Easy access to the perimeter wall for a nice walk.
I did not mind the stairs up to the suite but some might find them a challenge.
