    Living like Roman in Rome.

    Garbatella area is a proper working neighbourhood of Rome. Away from the tourist central hub, but 4-5 metro stops, 10-15 minutes. Everyone we met in the neighbourhood was welcoming and there is a lovely cafe just across the street. Excellent recommendations of local places to eat from Fulvia our host, reasonably priced, quality traditional Italian food and wine. They say ‘when in Rome, do as the Romans do’ that sums up Garbatella House.

    The shower temperature fluctuated hot/cold which was frustrating. Fulvia said she would look into it, so probably already fixed. Next door apartment was undergoing renovation so some noise from builders.
