Marvellous city, great apartment.
This was our fourth stay here which probably tells you all you need, alongside my previous reviews. Lovely apartment, great location.
We feel very much at home here.

Older apartment with character
The property is very well located, about 15 mins walk from Porta Susa and 15 mins walk to the main sights on a pedestrian street. It is in an old building but has a lift which is great for us. Property is cozy and spacious (comfortably sleeps 4), some things are a bit old but all functional. Marco who checked us in was very helpful, answering our questions late at night and helped us order taxis to the airport.
The configuration of the toilet is very interesting. There are 2 toilets but they share a common entrance so if you are not family, it would be rather awkward. The shower is function but small and a bit difficult getting in and out of it.

It is best to look elsewhere, the neighborhood is really best avoided.
I appreciated that I was greeted and assisted with my luggage. The apartment is of a decent size and the furniture has character. It was also kind of them to not force me to go to an ATM for the city tax (which they insisted be paid in cash) when I’d arrived exhausted.
The area is decidedly dicey, the bathrooms had a strong unpleasant musty smell (which was masked by the fact that all the windows were open when I arrived), the noise leakage from the street was extreme (the windows are not double glazed and you can literally hear every word in the conversations people are having out on the street), the lift in the building is very small. The shower is ridiculously tiny (but there are two bathrooms side by side for some reason). For the price I paid, I could’ve stayed at a hotel in the centre. I’m astounded at the positive feedback as I have rarely been more uncomfortable anywhere I’ve stayed.
