Nice stay but the shower issue made it inconvenient.

Location was great and it’s a lovely cottage, very cosy and with character.

One of the showers didn’t work and I noticed a Similar review saying the same months before we visited . So it is clear that nothing has been done to solve that issue. So many people had to queue for the shower. Kettle was absolutely filthy and filled with scale and we cleaned it. Cleaners need to do a better job as there were cobwebs and dust every where .

Big enough for the party size, enough rooms for us all , open space round back for the children to play and see the animals over the wall

Plenty or spiders and spider webs , loads of flies in the property & rubbish left under the bed on the ground floor from previous guests

    Annual Friends Holiday 2026

We love staying here, this is our 2nd time. The location is great for going into the Lakes or the Dales which we did both.

Could use more cups and glasses, we just brought out own prosecco glasses thus time 😂
