The hotel itself was lovely, with stunning views of the surrounding mountains. The room was well equipped and we appreciated access to a coffee machine downstairs. For a non smoking hotel, we were surprised to arrive to a very powerful smell of smoke as the owner, who was very welcoming and chatty, not to say interesting and so knowledgeable, smoked! The blinds on the bedroom windows did not keep out the street lighting and I found I had disturbed sleep as some of the external lights were annoying. Overall, a lovely place to stay.

The staff was lovely, and the breakfast was very nice. I had a great coffee machine. They offered laundry service, which was so appreciated, they even recognized my birthday. The bed was just a little disappointing… Very uncomfortable

A beautiful room, an excellent breakfast, and an extremely friendly staff. My only problem was that, because smoking is permitted in the garden and all alongside the house, my room had a strong stale smoke aroma. Don’t really know what can be done about that; it’s just a matter of air currents.

A wonderful experience of German hospitality.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable two night stay at The Otto Huber Guesthouse. The host was extremely endearing and helpful, providing local information and his English language was very good too. We were given a room on the top floor so there were a few steps to climb with our bags but that really didn’t matter as the room itself was perfect. We had the benefit of a balcony with a view of the mountains. Everything was very clean and the rooms was large with a seating area. A free bottle of water was also provided. Breakfast was very good being typical German-style and the two ladies who were there to help were also very pleasant. We were able to park our motorcycle under cover which we really appreciated. We would have no hesitation in returning to this guesthouse.
