    Lovely cottage, cozy, homely and well worth the stay

    Stunning cottage, well appointed and very comfortable and clean - would be happy to return

    Location a little removed from then regional attractions albeit required some scenic farmland drives to local towns and tourist hotspots

    A lovely, little cottage in the Borders

    This has to be one of the best self-catering accommodations we've stayed in a while. Price/quality was excellent. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the host, who is very caring and attentive, even provides coffee, tea, basic ingredients and welcome gifts such a as crisps and some drinks. Such a lovely touch! And what a view from that kitchen. Nothing better than sitting on the comfy sofa with a cuppa, enjoying the view of the beautiful garden and the rolling hills. Beds and bedding are of excellent quality and the shower is really nice too. Parking is just in front of the property, which is located on a very quiet country road. What a great little find, we'd love to stay again!

    Not much, really. If I have to be extremely picky, I would say that a couple more pans would be helpful, but nothing major. The cottage was very clean on the surface, but some areas have collected a bit of dust, so maybe a more frequent deep clean would help, but no biggie.
