  Mon havre de paix à Rome

  J'avais déjà séjourné dans cet appartement pour des vacances en famille, et je l'ai à nouveau réservé cette fois-ci alors que je suis de retour à Rome pour le travail, car ce logement offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix. L'appartement n'est pas luxueux, mais il possède tout ce qu'il faut pour passer un séjour confortable de courte durée. Il est propre, calme et très facile d'accès. Les lits, tout comme la cuisine et la salle de bain, sont confortables. La terrasse est très agréable pour se détendre en fin de journée ; c'est un véritable atout, assez rare à Rome. À deux pas de l'appartement se trouvent tous les commerces de première nécessité, ainsi qu'un marché alimentaire en plein air ouvert tous les matins et un grand parc où j'aime aller courir. L'arrêt de bus se situe à 2 minutes de la maison, et la gare du train urbain Monte Mario est à 10 minutes, ce qui permet de rejoindre rapidement n'importe quel quartier de la ville en évitant le trafic. L'assistance de l'hôte, Mme Ornella, est excellente. Elle est disponible 24h/24, très empathique et parle couramment français. Comme je viens souvent à Rome pour le travail, je reviendrai toujours ici.

  EXCELLENT VALUE, ESSENTIAL COMFORT, AUTHENTIC AREA, OUTSTANDING SUPPORT

  GEMELLI HOLIDAYS was the ideal apartment for our family’s needs. It offers reasonably priced, unpretentious accommodation that is fully equipped with everything needed for sleeping, cooking, and showering, as well as a comfortable terrace where we could relax. Best of all, it is located in a quiet part of Rome, in the Monte Mario district. Monte Mario is a safe and green neighborhood with good transport connections. The local train station is just a 10-minute walk from the apartment, and from there it is possible to reach central Rome in around 30 minutes. What we particularly appreciated is that this is not a tourist trap, but a genuine Roman neighborhood where local people actually live. You won’t find rows of souvenir shops here, but you will find all the essential local stores and services. There are also plenty of excellent, authentic, non-touristy trattoria - restaurants within walking distance, serving genuine Roman cuisine at prices that are not inflated for tourists. Just a short walk from the apartment, there is also a lovely food market open every morning, offering fresh produce from the Roman countryside along with wonderful local and artisanal specialties. The real highlight of our stay, however, was undoubtedly the host, Ms. Ornella. She is a hospitality professional who speaks 3 languages, very friendly, welcomes her guests personally, and provides an exceptional level of care and support. Before our arrival, Ms. Ornella sent us a collection of practical tips that she had prepared herself. These were incredibly useful for finding the most economical public-transport tickets and tickets for Rome’s famous monuments, discovering free attractions, and choosing good restaurants and shopping areas. At check-in, Ms. Ornella welcomed us warmly with complimentary coffee and some basic ingredients for cooking, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. During our stay, we experienced an issue with an ATM and also needed medical assistance.

  Es visitar Roma como un romano.

  La host es excelente y muy atenta de lo que necesitas. Muy buena ubicación, un barrio con todos servicios necesarios y buena conexión con el centro. Se puede cocinar y tiene lo necesario.

  DIE IDEALE UNTERKUNFT FUER AUTHENTISCHEN UND PREISBWUSSTEN TOURISMUS

  Wir empfehlen GEMELLI HOLIDAYS  Apartment allen Familien, die Rom erkunden möchten, ohne ein Vermögen auszugeben, und die einen Aufenthalt in einem authentischen, ruhigen und sicheren Viertel abseits der Touristenpfade – aber mit allen notwendigen Geschäften und Dienstleistungen – bevorzugen. Die Wohnung ist sehr einfach, zweckmäßig und ohne Luxus eingerichtet. Es gibt bequeme Betten, Kleine aber funktionale Küche und Badezimmer, zuverlässige Klimaanlage und WLAN, sowie eine schöne Terrasse. Zudem ist der Service erstklassig. Frau Ornella hat uns Tipps gegeben, wo man die günstigsten Tickets für das Kolosseum, die Vatikanischen Museen und das Pantheon sowie für die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel bekommt. Sie hat uns auf kostenlose Sehenswürdigkeiten, Restaurants in verschiedenen Stadtvierteln Roms, in denen die Römer selbst essen, sowie auf Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und traditionelle Märkte unter freiem Himmel aufmerksam gemacht ... Sie hat uns typische römische Gerichte empfohlen, die man sich nicht entgehen lassen sollte. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, denn im Vergleich zu unseren anderen Reisen haben wir nur halb so viel ausgegeben, aber authentischere Traditionen erlebt und uns viel besser willkommen gefühlt. Wir werden wieder nach Rom kommen und ohne Zögern erneut hier buchen!
