    great location, great host

    One of the house rules prohibits guests from bringing fruit into the apartment. Honestly, when I book an apartment, I expect a certain level of freedom and flexibility, rather than restrictions that feel more like those of a hotel. I can understand prohibiting durian because of its strong, lingering smell. But mangosteen? It is difficult to understand why ordinary fruits should be banned altogether. If there are specific concerns about cleanliness or potential stains, these could be addressed with reasonable guidelines rather than a blanket ban on bringing fruit into the apartment. For me, this rule feels excessive and unnecessarily restrictive for a self-catering accommodation.
