The house can offer excellent value for a family or two couples that don’t plan to drive during their stay, but beware o
The location is good, the responsiviness of the host (he is very helpful).
The mattress is very old and uncomfortable, the bed sheets are not white as they should be to easily observe any cleanliness issues (they are a gray colour), the blankets are very not suitable as they are itchy and can accumulate dust/sweat etc. The hot water during colder days take a long time heat and parking space it’s not private and it’s only guaranteed if you don’t move the car during your stay.

Eine Ferienwohnung, die die Gäste willkommen heißt.
Bei unserer Ankunft in der Ferienwohnung waren wir begeistert davon, dass der Gastgeber wirklich an alles gedacht hatte, was man in den ersten Tagen brauchen könnte: Kaffee, Wasser, Saft, Kekse, Spülmittel, Seife, Waschmittel, .... alles war vorhanden, gastfreundlich vorgesorgt. Wir fühlten uns sogleich willkommen! Die Wohnung: schöne, große Zimmer, eine große Küche, sonniger Balkon mit Blick über die Häuser. Die Lage: mittendrin in der Altstadt, schlichte Häuser, enge Gässchen, am steilen Hang gelegen. Das Lebensgefühl für die Tage in Kavala war für uns: dabei zu sein, weniger als Touristen denn als Gäste in der Stadt. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber, der bei unserer Abfahrt uns mit den schweren Rucksäcken sogar noch zum Hafen gefahren hat.

Enjoyable stay with wonderful view to Kavala
Wonderful apartment, conveniently located close to Old town, port and center. Very clean, cozy with its rather old school charm and ambience, it has all facilities for convenient stay to explore Kavala and nearby beaches. The best for us was the fantastic terrace, with wonderful view to the fortress and the sea to enjoy morning coffee or evening drink. The host Manolis is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and recommend the place.
