We came back for a second year in a row and really enjoyed our stay. The staff are really wonderful!
The location is unbeatable. Our seafront room was right on the main pool, which is directly on the beach. Of all the hotels in the area, none offers such close proximity to the beach. The hotel is also within easy walking distance to many restaurants. The sunbeds on the beach are nicely spaced from each other, whereas at many other locations they are really crowded and close together. The hotel is in a small town in a calm area. If you want excitement and nightlife, stay in Platanias or Chania.
The food is okay but not exceptional. There isn't a lot of variety in the breakfast buffet offering and it hadn't really changed from last year. The dinner buffet is quite expensive per person for what it is - it's much better to walk 100m down the beach to one of the seaside restaurants.
