  Go elsewhere, for god's sake

  Il giorno stesso dell'arrivo ci è stato comunicato che la camera prenotata (e pagata) non era disponibile per problemi tecnici, ma ci avrebbero ospitato in una camera equivalente. Nessuna proposta di (eventuale) rimborso qualora la cosa non ci fosse andata bene. All'arrivo scopriamo che eravamo stati alloggiati nella guesthouse, una camera di servizio buia, priva di finestre e di areazione. Ci siamo rifiutati di alloggiare lì, abbiamo ricaricato le valigie in macchina e abbiamo preso una camera in un'altra struttura. L'host ha riconosciuto che la camera non era al livello di quella che avevamo pagato, e si è offerta a parole di adoperarsi per un rimborso. Rimborso che non è mai avvenuto, e l'host ha continuato ad ignorare messaggi di sollecito. Conservo tutti gli screenshot delle conversazioni. Assistenza di booking completamente inutile, sostanzialmente siamo stati scammati di 200€. Evitate come la peste.

  The owner was very helpfull, she texted me couple of times if everything is okay. Room was really nice, kudos for coffee and water 🫶. She is really nice person.

  The location on booking, even on maps is really confusing, there is nothing there. I did 3 circles around the Piles and then was navigated via phonecall. To help you avoid the situation, iam posting real location and how to get there. You have to take a left from the main road above the city, at the museum, then you just go straight, right side everytime. The house is marked by heart on maps. Enjoy

  Exceptional

  Anastasia was the nicest host one could wish for. The apartment is very clean, looks exactly like in the pictures, super private and calm. Th location is in a small village called Pyles, full of charm and perfect for exploring the hole island. We felt very welcomed and learned a lot about the culture. Anastasia and her family gave us fresh fruits from their garden and useful tips for our stay. Thank you once again for this unforgettable experience on this beautiful island. Lots of love!
