    I’ve stayed at Glen Tara many times. I love the outlook and proximity to Johanna beach. Love the cows and birdlife too.

    Peaceful and beautiful and has everything you need . Made use of the indoor pool too which is great.

    Beautiful accomodation. Disappointing dog yard.

    Beautiful location. The accomodation was comfortable with a well appointed kitchen and great insulation so that the temperature stayed steady and warm the whole time without needing the heater. The beds were comfortable and it was very peaceful. The outlook is amazing.

    Unfortunately, the dog yard set-up in the renovated cottages is poor. The fenced yard turns out to be a desultory concrete strip behind the cottage with no overhead shelter and no access from the cottage. Unless your dog is happy to have a wee on the lawn in front whilst ignoring the grazing wallabies and other wildlife, you're in for a struggle to keep them contained. The older cottages still have a decent grassy fenced yard in front, so I would recommend those if you're bringing a furry friend.
