    Beautiful, with Country Charm & all Coveniences, Access to Coast, Natural Bridge, Springbrook, etc.

    Elegant 1902 home on a hill overlooking the town and the river, with stunning landscaping. We chose it for access to the national parks and the coast, from a town with a country rather than resort feel, with beautiful drives to and from both. The amenities included comfy beds, linens, and furniture, well stocked kitchen, laundry facilities, a shower with a wand, spacious living space and wrap around terrace. Our host was a very good, and responsive, communicator. A two minute drive into town for shopping and meals, included several trips to the small Sunnyside mall, where we enjoyed the Take a Break Cafe. The nearby Balcony restaurant was excellent. Other favourites: Hastings Point Lookout & beaches,Tweed Heads, Natural Bridge, Fudge Shop

    No complaints, everything was delightful. The host made it clear we could reach out to her if there were any problems or questions and responded quickly, with warm friendliness, to our questions. She was very helpful when our flight was delayed and it took us an extra day to get there.

    Feels like a home

    Lovely place to stay, fitted out to feel like a real home. The air conditioner worked well, the bed was warm and comfortable, the shower was hot and had an excellent setup that means water didn't leak all over the bathroom floor. Very nice soaps and shampoos were also provided. Also really appreciated the milk and other condiments supplied. The residence is in a great location - tucked away up a hill with lovely views, even from the lower residence courtyard - it felt like a real haven away from town.

    Not a big deal, but mentioning these things in case it matters to others... the bedroom windows are frosted glass, and quite hidden from prying eyes, but there are no curtains or blinds; you can definitely hear footfall from the upstairs (although perfectly understandable, when there are kids, that can be quite noisy).
