    The cabin was spacious and well appointed on the site. The site is also very close to the town centre where there are 2 restaurants and a village shop, together with a whiskey shop/ gift shops. There are lots of local walks around Tomintoul and longer walks a short drive away. Scalan seminary is well worth a visit
