  Great central location and good amenities

  Great location for exploring the city. We had a terrible experience at the Balkan Crest hotel and booked this very late at night last minute to transfer to and were immediately contacted by the host with details for how to find the apartment and we were so pleased because it was such a comfortable stay. You do have to walk up 5 flights of stairs which was fine for us, although the entrance to the apartment from the street looks a little rough, you wouldn’t know once you’re inside. Everything felt new and it has everything we needed. The washer and dryer was a godsend. Would definitely recommend

  Look elsewhere in Tirana

  Location was good…..near many tourist sites.

  No mention of NO ELEVATOR in the add. Lugging water, groceries, etc was not for the weak, old or out of shape. No photos of the building in listing…..there is a reason why. Building is absolutely horrid….very old building with exposed wiring, crumbling steps, peeling paint. Walkways and stairway filled with garbage, cigarette butts, bugs, darkly lit and frankly scary at night. The apartment was renovated nicely a few years ago and nothing has been maintained. They need to do a lot of maintenance. Broken window, broken drawers, no room darkening drapes, poorly equipped kitchen, one wine g,ass and two juice glasses for 2 people! Also, dead batteries in remotes, burnt out light bulbs, no trash bags, paper towels, only 2 forks, 1 spoon, NO coffee cups, etc. Communication with manager was useless.
