    Over priced for the quality

    Lovely woodland location Staff were pleasant and helpful but seems to accept the poor quality but maybe they can’t do anymore

    Facilities were dated , no locks on bathroom doors, every door was dirty behind ( but pretty clean otherwise ) Hot tub didn’t work properly was just a warm bath with dodgy jets & oven was a nightmare as no idea what was on the dials

    Enjoyable stay in roomy accommodation.

    The lodge was in a beautiful setting, it’s a great size. Would comfortably accommodate 6 adults. Great having two bathrooms. The hot tub is an excellent addition, as too is the WiFi. Very comfortable beds, everyone enjoyed a great nights sleep. There is a great information booklet with lots of tips and local facilities. The TV can access Netflix and Amazon prime. We only stayed for 2 nights and had plans to visit local areas, but would love to stay longer and explore more.

    Having previously stayed in similar accommodations, it would be great if a small amount of tea/coffee making facilities were provided so you don’t have to immediately go shopping. Some of the decor and bathroom facilities could do with an update. One of the toilets makes a really loud sound when flushing so we tried not to use that one. Due to the woodland location there are signs of rodents, but I appreciate this must be hard to combat. We wanted to watch a DVD that we had brought with us but unfortunately the HDMI cable wasn’t anywhere to be found. Would have liked a broom or mop to clean the floors after using the hot tub.

    The Lodge was lovely, tidy, we loved it
