  Family break ruined by the state of Golden Crown Spa - would never go again or recommend to anyone!

  The sauna and steam rooms were nice and easy to use (although the steam room does flood the floor, so you have to continually mop) and the massage therapist we booked was lovely and the treatments were really nice. The Black Bull in the town is lovely, great food and well worth a visit.

  The house was not as clean as expected. grubby and tired. The TV, projector, speaker and rasul room didn't work on our first day - a refund was given for the rasul room as this couldn't be fixed and the owner Alan came and installed a new TV. Although they were aware of the HDMI being broken before our arrival but we were not informed, he did sent some compensation. There were a lot of flies in the kitchen and dining room, which isn't helped with having open bins. We cleaned the bins and entered new liners and cleaned all of the surfaces - not what we expected to have to do on our holidays. There are tiles broken in the bar area and drinks fridge is broken, so constantly leaks. The bedrooms had not been hoovered, there were streamers all of over the house and our on-suite had hairs in the sink and floor and there was lipstick on one of the pillow cases. The outdoor furniture cushions had been left out in the rain, so we were unable to sit out on the dry days and the BBQ was filthy, so we didn't use that as we had planned. Due to the state of the house, rather than a week of relaxation and chill - everyone just wanted to be out of the house all day - everyday! On our last day, the pipes blocked and sewage came up through the showers and then the ceilings into the bathrooms below. The housekeeper soon arrived to help with the clean up- which was disgusting!

  We absolutely love living here! The apartment itself is great—spacious, clean, and everything works perfectly. The management is also fantastic, always friendly and quick to respond to any questions. The location is super convenient, and we feel very safe. This place is best for both kids and adults. Highly recommend this place!"

  Great space for a big crowd. Would recommend to others

  Loved that it catered to all 15 of us and it had a hot tub and the therapists came to the house to carry out treatments Staff were very attentive and helpful, responding to issues immediately

  The photos aren’t really reflective of the size dynamic. The kitchen and bar area looked to be the same room and they weren’t and there was a damp fousty smell downstairs which was still there 24 hours later
