  Lots of potential - but there's now a nightclub on the roof of the Wellness retreat

  - Incredible mountain views - Very friendly General Manager and Spa Manager  - Warm welcome and an easy check-in - Fantastic wellness and massage options! Best part for the stay is 100% the wellness spa!!

  - Between placing the booking and arriving for our stay, the property has a new addition of a nightclub on the top floor - As this stay was marketed around wellness, we booked seeking tranquility and relaxation, (had I known about the nightclub I would not have booked) - During my massage at 5-6pm the nightclub music was already audible to the point I had to request for music to be played, to drown out the club noise  - As the music carried into the late evening I reported the noise to staff, although apologetic the music was consistently loud approx 1am - ultimately I wasn't able to sleep until the music stopped - Overall, the guest experience could be more seamless. While senior management seemed excellent, some staff appeared less confident in anticipating guests’ needs. We received approx 6–8 calls to our room (I've never had this in a hotel stay before - it added to the reduced tranquility) about matters that could have mostly been covered on arrival or communicated through information readily available in the room , e.g. Ask about breakfast at check in, a food menu already in the room) - We couldn't get the shower to work (only the tap) + dark mold in the bathroom near the window

  one of my best travel experiences ever, made unforgettable by the beautiful views, immaculate facilities, and exceptiona

  My stay at Golden Sky and Wellness Hotel was honestly one of the *best experiences I’ve ever had*. I arrived in the middle of the night, and Kumudika welcomed me with open arms, made sure my room was ready, and made me feel completely at home right away. The hotel itself is beautiful, luxurious(!), super clean, and really well taken care of, with stunning!! views all around. Since I had to work on my laptop for a day, they even set up a perfect workspace for me right in front of the view. What really made this place special, though, was the people. Kumudika and the staff are genuinely some of the kindest, most caring, and hard-working people I've met. They helped me with everything I needed, made delicious food and tea, and we ended up having great conversations and sharing stories. At one point, when I couldn’t find a ride, Kumudika literally took her own car to drop me off where I needed to go in town. That’s just the kind of host she is 🙏🏼❤️ Before this trip, I wasn’t even sure if I’d ever come back to Sri Lanka. But after staying here, I know for sure I’ll be back in Kandy and back at this hotel, if only to visit Kumudika and the team again. I can’t recommend this place enough to anyone traveling here you’ll be taken care of like family! ❤️

  Ottima struttura di livello superiore rispetto a tutti gli altri alloggi in cui sono stata nel mio tour in Sri Lanka, lo staff è accogliente e disponibile, la struttura pulita e moderna, ottima anche la possibilità di cenare in struttura (pasta deliziosa, detto da un’italiana!). Se cercate una struttura lontana ma non troppo dal caos della città di Kandy, con un ottimo servizio e un’ottima vista questa struttura fa al caso vostro!
