    Charming, quiet apartment in a historic house with a perfect location below Melk Abbey

    Perfect location right below Melk Abbey, yet wonderfully quiet – we slept really well. We loved the historic atmosphere of the building, especially the old staircase, which gives the place real character. Self check-in was smooth and the instructions were clear. A great base for exploring Melk.

    Only small things: the toilet brush was dirty, which stood out in an otherwise nice apartment. We struggled with the induction hob until we realised the saucepan we were using wasn't induction-compatible – it would help to keep only induction-ready cookware in the kitchen. The lighting, especially in the kitchen, was a bit dim.
