Great historical property with character
If you prefer to stay in an out of the ordinary style accommodation, this hotel has character and a great history. (Read the story of the owner and his son). The room was big enough, the bathroom modern. White towels - not grey. Communication was great because you need to book your allotted hour in the spa ahead of time. Sauna and steam room qere excellent but jacuzzi heating still wasn't working (I saw reviews from four months earlier that said it wasn't working). Breakfast was a typical Georgian hotel breakfast. We stayed in 4 hotels in different cities and they were all very similar irrespective of the star rating. Location is great - right by the park gates, with free car park outside. Lots of typical Georgian produce shops/stalls on the roadside as you walk into town which is about 20 minutes' walk away, although we didn't see there was much to see/do in the town.
Everything was as expected.

Das Frühstück bietet eine große Auswahl und ist sehr lecker. Das Hotel ist ein wunderschönes Gebäude, das Personal sehr hilfsbereit. Es ist eine sehr frequentierte Lage, mir war es anfänglich nicht möglich einen Parkplatz zu finden obwohl ein großer Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe war. Dieser war aber bereits überfüllt. Das Hotel war dann so freundlich mich direkt in der Einfahrt parken zu lassen. Super Service.
Der Wellnessbereich ist ebenfalls völlig ausreichend, es gibt Sauna, Dampfbad und Whirlpool. Allerdings ist der Aufenthalt auf max. 1 h begrenzt. Das fand ich sehr schade, ich hatte eine anstrengende Reise hinter mir und hätte mich gerne den ganzen Abend dort entspannt. In der vorgesehenen Stunde hat man den Bereich aber zur alleinigen Verfügung, was natürlich sehr positiv ist.

Une maison de style persan absolument ravissante, sans doute l’un des plus beaux bâtiments de Borjomi. Idéalement située à proximité du parc central, elle bénéficie d’un emplacement privilégié. Le personnel est serviable.
Le petit-déjeuner n’est servi qu’à partir de 9 h, ce qui est un peu tard lorsqu’on souhaite partir en randonnée. Certains équipements commencent également à montrer des signes d’usure. Le spa, par exemple, a tout juste pu être réparé pour que nous puissions en profiter. Le principal enjeu sera donc d’assurer un entretien régulier et durable des installations pour la suite.
