    I don't want to put you off, but I wouldn't stay here again.

    The location is everything! I think Vernazza was the best town, in my opinion, (unless you want a beach) because of the access to its harbour and its main street. The view from the apartment was amazing, and it was large.

    The hosts were professional and responsive when we raised a cleanliness issue, but unfortunately, not when I asked for the air conditioning to be checked. The aircon didn’t work at all in some rooms and was inconsistent in others. It was hot when we arrived, and unlike every other apartment we stayed in across Italy, this one hadn’t been cooled in advance. It sounds like I'm going on about the air conditioning, but it mattered because of the heat in July. The kitchenware—plates and glasses—was very old, which made everything look unwashed, even though it may have been clean. Also, the bed in the back bedroom was extremely hard. I understand firmer mattresses are more common in Italy, but this one was almost unsleepable.

    Exceptional

    The location is more than beautiful and the flat is also great. Sitting on the terrace above the City was better than anything.

    Only two sunbeds were missing.
