  Bananas por todo o lado!

  The host was welcoming and despite the language barrier was friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The location was far enough out of town to be quiet and relaxing with friendly locals, and close enough to a main road that travelling down to shops and restaurants wasn't an issue, though there are plenty of snack bars within walking distance. The accommodation itself is clean, simple, and spacious, with comfortable furnishings and all the appliances you would need, plus a sea view from the outside seating area. Would definitely look to come back here if we visit Madeira again.

  I would like to leave a review of Casa Gomez accommodation. My family and I were absolutely delighted with our stay and spent the last 14 days of December there. Although we travel quite often with our children and deliberately choose private accommodations, as hotels usually do not suit us well in these destinations, I was truly impressed by how well equipped both the kitchen and the bathroom were. I cooked there twice a day and had absolutely everything I needed at my disposal – blenders, food containers for trips, a coffee machine, a toaster, excellent new non-stick pans, in fact a fully and newly equipped kitchen. There was also a washing machine and a hair dryer, which I particularly appreciated. On top of that, the hosts were incredibly kind – they brought us their own delicious fruit from the garden several times and always made sure we had everything we needed. The place itself is beautiful, with a perfect location for exploring the island. Air conditioning that both cools and heats (very useful on cooler days), parking right next to the house, stunning views – simply absolute satisfaction. I can wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation. We haven’t experienced such a well-equipped and truly comfortable place in a long time. It genuinely felt like home :-)
