  In theory nice, in practice a lot worse.

  The Host is very friendly. I arrived late due to flight delays and the host was accommodating for handing over the keys. She even provided me with an emergency snack as all shops were closed by the time I arrived. The location was also clean overall.

  In fact I left on the second day because it didn't feel like holiday at all. The double bed is very small (120cm), doesn't look as rustic and sturdy as on the picture but instead is a cheap modern bed. It is squeaky if you move, and the mattress is extremely uncomfortable like you'd sleep on the street. On top of that the motorway nearby can definitely be heard especially whenever a car goes over a bump. Upstairs there's Nother family living with kids. As the ceilings and walls are paper thin I woke up in the morning after an already bad night. Moreover, there's the parking situation. I'm a good driver but on holidays I rent a car that I need to take good care of. The way to the house follows a narrow and steep road which at night can pose a challenge. Climbing down to the entrance through the gate is another one especially with a SUV. the biggested challenges is parking the car in their garage. The family living there has a big van and a motorcycle which the host asked me to respect. You certainly can't just park the car. It takes 20 moves back and forth to reverse to park the car. For my plans of leaving early or arriving late to explore Andalucía this was a waste of time and lots of stress especially. Accordingly I decided to leave as such level of stress doesn't feel like holiday to me. I asked for a refund. However the host just hands over the keys, but the contract is with the Ruralidays agency. They said all my issues are subjective and thus don't qualify for a refund. It feels unfair but staying there a day longer with the stress overhead on what was supposed to be my holiday didn't feel wise. I'm glad I left even though I burnt a lot of money. Finding a new accommodation was a challenge in itself because there's no phone signal on the hill and the WiFi is very weak. While this can be a pros, in my case it was cons.

  Pasamos una estancia excelente en esta encantadora casita con piscina privada. Muchas gracias al señor Julio por su cálida bienvenida y su disponibilidad. La casa estaba perfectamente limpia, bien equipada, y la vista es simplemente magnífica. Además, el mar está muy cerca, lo que hace que la ubicación sea aún más ideal. ¡Volveremos con mucho gusto!
