    Came for a good night’s sleep, left with a fraud accusation

    The highlight of the stay was actually the Indian restaurant nearby 😂 The staff were incredibly friendly and the food was lovely. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much about the accommodation itself that we could positively comment on

    Unfortunately, pretty much everything else. The property was extremely dirty, with dust, dirt, debris and stained carpets/rugs throughout. I had to clean the bath before using it. There was no toilet roll, inadequate bedding for the sofa bed and no tea or coffee despite it being advertised. Most concerning was a loose metal floor strip which my daughter tripped over and cut her foot on. We also barely slept due to noise and very uncomfortable beds. To top off an already memorable stay, when I complained afterwards and explained that I had photographs and videos documenting the condition, the owner denied everything and reported me to Booking.com for alleged “fraud”. Not quite the ending to our Cornwall holiday we had planned! 😅
