    A lovely stay made even more special by an incredibly kind and thoughtful owner who truly goes above and beyond for gues

    We had a lovely stay at Grampians Pioneer Cottages, but what really made this place special was the kindness of the owner. After we checked out, my husband realised he’d accidentally left behind his shampoo. It was a special one that wasn’t easy to replace, so he called the owner to ask about it. The owner was incredibly understanding, took the time to listen and help, and even went to the trouble of posting it back to us without charging anything extra. It might seem like a small thing, but to us, it meant a lot. It’s not often you come across someone who genuinely cares enough to go out of their way for guests, especially after they’ve already left. We really appreciated this thoughtful gesture. It’s these little acts of kindness that make a stay truly memorable. Thank you so much for looking after us!

    Comfortable cottage in a beautiful location. We loved relaxing in front of the fire at night. Also loved the friendly chickens and other wildlife on the property.

    The cabin was a great location and a lively place to stay, very clean, perfect for our weekend get away for 8. We even had electric blankets.

    Due to wood burning fire there was smoke, but then what else would you expect it's a natural fire.
