    Superb apartment in the centre of Kaunas Old Town

    While in the centre of the old town with lots of bars and restaurants nearby, the apartment is situated off a quiet cul de sac in a gated courtyard. Access is via a key code for the gate and then keys to the apartment itself, which is on the top floor of the building (no lift, but the stairs are wide and easy to navigate). You enter the apartment to a boot and coat area, before going up another flight of internal stairs to the main area. The huge living space is divided by this staircase, with a fully equipped kitchen-diner on one side and the lounge area on the other. The two large bedrooms open off the main room, as does the huge bathroom. The kitchen is fully fitted with all the usual cooking equipment and white goods needed, while the lounge has comfortable seating and a large flat screen tv. The bedroom we picked (both overlook the street) was very comfortable and had plenty of storage available for our week's stay. The bathroom contained both a bath and shower as well as a washing machine, and has luxurious underfloor heating! Our hosts were excellent, providing very clear instruction for gaining access to the apartment. We also contacted them when we had difficulty figuring out how the heating worked. They replied immediately and had us sorted out within 30 minutes.

    For longer stays, more kitchen utensils and tableware, and possibly a coffee maker, would be useful.

    Very spacious and well located in Old Town. Easy to walk and explore lots of the main sights. Great communication with host and all very helpful. Great bath and very comfy beds. Large comfortable living and kitchen space. Really warm. Great shower and a big bath as well.

    Better instructions needed for how to work the tv's. There is a full kitchen set up but a lack of small knives and no toaster or sharp breab knife even thought the bread in Kaunas is delicious. Also coffee seemed to be for a plunger but there was no plunger and no Breakfast tea (only herbal). Also not enough toilet paper for length of our stay. This is a great place in a great location but some of the smaller things that would make it absolutley amazing were missing.
