    A real treat to stay here

    Janisha and team were so friendly. The room was palatial. Breakfast superb (especially the take on the bunny chow!) property immaculate and unique. We loved that when we returned each day we were welcomed “home” by the staff only wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a 10-15min walk to centre but along the coastal path -lovely. We even saw a glimpse of whale from the balcony but even if we hadn’t it was a wonderful view .

    Very comfortable, good location, somewhat dated but still luxurious

    On checking out, one is asked to sit and fill in a review form, while being closely watched. At the end of the form you are asked how much gratuity you wish to leave, and how to allocate amongst 6 named staff - most of whom you have never met. This is a terrible and uncomfortable practice.

    Best guesthouse in Hermanus!

    We had a great time. Beautiful views and excellent staff!!! We were really spoiled. One of the best guesthouses we have stayed at. Did not want to go home!!!

    Loved everything!!!
