We booked a family holiday at Grand Mirage Resort to celebrate a milestone wedding anniversary and make special memories together. During our stay, our young child unexpectedly required urgent medical treatment at a local hospital, turning our holiday into a very stressful time. Being so far from home with young children was daunting, but the kindness and compassion shown by the management and staff made an enormous difference. Everyone was exceptional. The team went above and beyond to ensure our entire family was well looked after and supported. A special thank you to Senni and the management team, as well as every member of staff who showed us such kindness. My husband and I were genuinely touched by the extraordinary level of care and compassion we received. Although our holiday didn't unfold as planned, we will always remember how everyone from Grand Mirage cared for our family when we needed it most. We are truly grateful and look forward to returning in the future. ❤️

Lovely Hotel, and Staff.
Lovely Hotel, Lovely Staff, Lovely Room, extremely comfortable bed and pillows. Huge selection of hot and cold food.
The Beach and its view were not great and disappointing. So we remained around the Lazy River area. But be prepared for others reserving sun-beds. Breakfast and lunch were like the motorways in the UK (busy ). Outside there are two mini supermarkets and a couple of entertainment venues and lots of massage parlours, places to book trips. But be aware of Time Share Sellers giving you winning scratch cards!

Extremely disappointing - not a 5 star resort
We cannot fault the reception and administrative staff. They were responsive and accommodating when we requested a later checkout and kindly arranged a shower room for us to use before our late departure. We truly appreciated their assistance and willingness to make our final day more comfortable. Despite this positive experience, however, we would not recommend the hotel.
We stayed at Grand Mirage Resort Thalasso Bali for our final night in Bali, booking the family suite for approximately $900 AUD. As we had a late flight, we specifically chose this room to give our family space and provide activities for the kids to enjoy throughout the day before departure. Unfortunately, the property was extremely run-down and outdated, and our stay was incredibly disappointing. The family suite was in poor condition, smelled strongly of urine and mould, and had absolutely no view. When we opened the curtains, we were met with a wall. Despite having two televisions, neither was a smart TV, meaning there was no internet or streaming capability and we were limited to local Indonesian channels. For a room costing $900, the standard was simply unacceptable. The kids’ facilities were equally disappointing. The kids’ club, main children’s pool and splash park were visibly neglected and, in some areas, appeared unsafe. The slide had been crossed off with electrical tape, broken tiles were scattered throughout the pool areas, and the pavers became extremely hot underfoot. These are significant concerns for a resort marketed as family-friendly. We also witnessed some concerning incidents in the kids’ club. Several children appeared to have been dropped off while displaying aggressive behaviour towards the nannies and other children. At one point, a nanny appeared to lock a child in a room and call for assistance. Staff could be seen attempting to contact parents via FaceTime, yet, despite requests for the children to be collected, they remained at the club for approximately three hours after we first observed the situation. This raised serious concerns for the safety and wellbeing of both the children and staff. At one stage, a glass panel from the second storey fell and smashed onto the ground below. We were in the area underneath but were protected by overhead cover.
