    Slightly disappointing stay

    The property is in an ideal location for access to the safari and being picked up

    Honestly the pictures do this hotel way more justice than I experienced. It’s a large complex with lots of staff, the building seems well maintained but in the rooms the bathrooms are old and shabby, with connectors falling off lime scale and black mould gathering around the toilet and bidet. In the evening the electrics in my room cut out briefly three times The menu is outdated with old fashioned european food, despite this no adequate vegetarian/vegan options other than a salad, sandwich or pasta. I had to spend my day in another hotels restaurant enjoying just one meal for the day. It was off season and very quiet so maybe that’s why, but the interior, pool facilities, garden are not as lavish as the pictures suggest. Maybe this would be good for older european, I don’t know. I was glad that I was only staying one night to access the safari personally I also was annoyed that they decided to take the charge from my holding card during my stay rather than request payment on arrival or check out. I’d have been more than happy to pay provide my card however no one asked, it felt very unprofessional

    The Hotel location was good, staff was friendly and the room was comfortable

    ​The linen needs to be replaced. Additionally, we ordered a packed breakfast the day before for an early 6:00 AM safari, but it was mistakenly given to another guest due to poor communication between reception and the restaurant. This caused a delay of over 45 minutes to our morning schedule.
