Would always stay here ! Again !
Grandma's House, Symi town; best place to stay and enjoy Symi. The apartment was spotlessly clean with a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, and a third bed up in the loft. We also spent a lot of time on the small balcony overlooking the bay and town, but more importantly was the hospitality of our hosts Chrysanthea & Pantelis; they were the sweetest family and made us feel welcome. As for excursions, try Neriaida restaurant 100m from home, Nikolas Bakery for pastries, a bus ride to Pedi bay and boat to Agia Marina for swimming and be sure to head up to the original Symi Town on top and walk down 500 steps thru old town instead of up those steps! We can't thank our hosts enough for their hospitality, Sas efharisto, Σας ευχαριστώ

Very good place to stay
The apartment was spacious, very clean, and I had everything I needed. It was close to the port, shops, and restaurants ( less than 5 min walk), but also far enough from the busy streets. The hosts were very nice and helpful, responsive, and provided me with anything I needed. Totally recommend this place!

Grandma's Haus war eine ausgezeichnete Wahl. Top ausgestattet, geräumig und gemütlich. Vermieterin Chrysanthi und Pantelis sind sehr um das Wohl ihrer Gäste bemüht. Pantelis hat uns vom Hafen abgeholt und uns mit unserem schweren Gepäck geholfen. Da wir sehr früh am Morgen ankamen, konnten wir unser Gepäck unterstellen, bis das Studio fertig war. Besonders haben wir den Balkon genossen, der in der Früh im Schatten liegt, so dass wir dort gut frühstücken konnten. Der Blick ist wunderschön. Die Küche ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Für alle die gern kochen: Der Herd hat ein Backrohr und 4 Herdplatten und funktioniert einwandfrei. Das Bad und die Dusche mit Duschkabine (keine Selbstverständlichkeit in Griechenland) sind ebenfalls top und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist wirklich gut. Kein Wunder, dass Grandma's House fast immer ausgebucht ist.
Uns hat alles gefallen. Ab und zu störend war der Nachbar, der an seinem Haus herumbaut, wodurch es manchmal zu Lärm- und Geruchsbelästigungen kam. Aber da kann Vermieterin Chrysanti natürlich nichts dafür!
